Delicious AND affordable! Came here for a dinner on a Monday night. It wasn't busy and we got seated right way. The waitress gave us complimentary chips and salsa and a cup of soup. The soup hit just right on a rainy night. The waitress gave us 2 alternative less spicy salsas without us even asking! We ordered the lengua (beef tongue) burrito and the lengua gordito dinner. It was so good. The lengua was so tender and flavorful. It's so hard to find good lengua like this in the Chicagoland area. Everything cost us less than $25. We will be back!

Best Mexican food in Lake County!! As a regular customer for over 10 years, I can say they consistently serve excellent food and have no equal. The restaurant has a bustling busy atmosphere and is very lively. The rotisserie chicken is the best I've tasted, the consomme is to die for, and it's one of the very few places I know of that does a cemitas sandwich.

We moved 70 miles south of here but always loved their food. We were in the area and decided to get some to go. The food... as always... was amazing. I had steak tacos and chicken enchiladas. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had

Great local place for Mexican food. Hot, fresh chips with spicy salsa were placed on our table. Beers were cold. Food, including a complimentary cup of soup, was ready quickly, and delicious. Server was attentive. Only caveat is they close at 8pm every day.
